# Referral codes

> Apply a referral code, share your own link, and understand when bonus dreamcoins are awarded.

The referral program gives both people 1,000 dreamcoins when the referred person subscribes. Every ten eligible referrals also unlocks a 10,000 dreamcoin milestone bonus for the referrer.

## Apply a referral link

1. Open the referral link while signed in to a non-subscribed account. Current links use this format:

   ```text theme={null}
   https://ourdream.ai/refer/ABC123
   ```

2. Confirm that the referral banner appears.

3. Select **Upgrade**.

4. Check that the plan shows the **+1,000 dreamcoin referral bonus**.

5. Complete a monthly or annual subscription.

The code is attached before checkout and the bonus is awarded when the subscription qualifies.

## Apply a code manually

If someone sent you only a code:

1. Open [Profile → Referral](https://ourdream.ai/profile#referral).
2. Select **Have a referral code?**
3. Paste the code or the full referral link.
4. Select **Apply**.
5. Subscribe to claim the 1,000 bonus dreamcoins.

You cannot apply your own code. The manual option is available only before the account is already subscribed or attached to a valid referral.

## Share your referral link

1. Open [Profile → Referral](https://ourdream.ai/profile#referral).
2. Select **Invite**.
3. If this is your first referral, ourdream creates your code.
4. Send the copied `/refer/` link to the person you want to invite.

The Referral card tracks eligible referrals, total earned dreamcoins, and progress toward the next ten-referral milestone.

## If the bonus does not appear

* Confirm you opened or applied the link on the account that will subscribe.
* Check that the account was not already subscribed.
* Return to the Referral card and verify that the code shows as applied.
* Do not complete checkout if the referral bonus is missing from the plan summary.
* Contact [**support@ourdream.ai**](mailto:support@ourdream.ai) with the account email and referral code if the state still looks wrong.
