An outfit preset defines garments, accessories, and footwear. The strongest public outfits are recognizable, complete, and broadly wearable.
Requirements
A public outfit preset:
- Defines clothing only.
- Works across different body types and characters.
- Produces a complete, coherent look.
- Matches the cover image.
- Uses color only when it is important to the identity of the look.

Prefer broad usefulness
Modern, casual, timeless, or familiar formalwear generally combines well with more characters than a highly specific costume.
Before submitting, ask:
- Would people use this across several characters?
- Does the title describe the clothes rather than a particular person?
- Does it still work against unrelated backgrounds?
- Is it substantially different from outfits already in the library?
Use color intentionally
A classic color combination can define a look. Color should not be the only difference between two presets.
Do not submit “Red Cocktail Dress,” “Blue Cocktail Dress,” and “Green Cocktail Dress” as separate presets. Submit one strong cocktail-dress preset and leave room for generation variation unless a specific palette creates a genuinely different design.
Avoid
- Backgrounds, locations, poses, smiles, expressions, or moods.
- Face coverings or outfits that consistently obscure the character.
- Changes to hair, body shape, breast size, or anatomy.
- Fantasy, medieval, sci-fi, cosplay, or highly niche costumes with limited public usefulness.
- The same outfit at several lengths when the change does not create a meaningfully different style.
- Titles that narrow the audience without improving clarity.
- A single clothing noun with no information needed to create a complete look.
- Another version of an outfit category already well represented in the library.
Test checklist
Test the outfit on different:
- Body types.
- Hair lengths, to catch unwanted face or hair obstruction.
- Poses, including seated and full-body poses.
- Backgrounds with different lighting.
